Project Objective
The “Health Zone” project aims to create a specially equipped area with facilities for outdoor sports activities, located in the Löbbeckes Insel city park in Braunschweig, Germany.
The main objectives include:
- Maintaining healthy body functions: By providing various sports facilities that allow for a range of outdoor physical activities.
- Free informational programs and exercises: Conducting free training programs and instructions on the proper use of the equipment, available to all visitors.
- Promoting and improving the health culture and condition of people: With a special focus on raising awareness and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
- Suitable for all age groups: The park will be beneficial for adults, youth, families, and children, providing opportunities for physical activity and fun for everyone.
Free Usage
The park will be accessible to all citizens of Braunschweig completely free of charge, which will encourage wider participation and use of the facilities.
Additional Activities
As part of the project, the following additional activities will be implemented:
- Creating a mobile application: Developing an application for mobile phones that will include audiovisual lessons and programs for using the facilities, as well as other specialized services. This will allow users to receive guidance and advice directly from their devices.
Implementation Phase
The “Health Zone” project has already been approved for implementation and is currently in the investment and technical realization phase. The final completion date for the project is scheduled for 2025.
With the implementation of this project, the Minkov Bread and Salt Foundation aims to significantly contribute to improving the health and quality of life of the residents of Braunschweig by providing accessible and effective opportunities for physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

From December 2024 to the end of March 2025, the project will be presented to the Braunschweig municipality for discussion and approval by the competent authorities regarding its implementation stages.
